Helen Folasade Adu, OBE (Yoruba: Fọláṣadé Adú; born 16 January 1959), known professionally as Sade Adu or simply Sade (/ʃɑːˈdeɪ/ shah-day), is an English singer-songwriter, composer, arranger, and record producer. With members Paul S. Denman, Andrew Hale, and Stuart Matthewman, she gained worldwide fame as the lead vocalist of the English band Sade. Following a brief stint as a fashion designer of men’s clothing and part-time model Adu began backup singing for the band Pride. Growing attention from record labels led her, along with other fellow band members, to separate from Pride and form the band Sade. Following a record deal with Epic Records the band released their debut album Diamond Life (1984). The album sold over six million copies, becoming one of the top-selling debut recordings of the 1980s, and the best-selling debut ever by a British female vocalist.

Following the release of the band’s debut album they went on to release a string of multi-platinum selling albums. Their follow up Promise was released in 1985 and peaked at number-one in the UK Albums Chart, the US Billboard 200, and went on to sell four million copies in the US. Sade would later go on to make her acting debut in the British film, Absolute Beginners (1986), before the release of the band’s albums, Stronger Than Pride (1988) and Love Deluxe (1992). After the release of the fifth album, Lovers Rock (2000), the band embarked on a ten-year hiatus in which Sade raised her daughter. Following the hiatus the band returned with their sixth album, Soldier of Love (2010) which became a commercial success and won a Grammy Award.

Sade’s US certified sales so far stand at 23.5 million units according to Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) web site and have sold more than 50 million units worldwide to date. The band were ranked at number 50 on VH1’s list of the “100 greatest artists of all time”. In 2002, Adu was awarded an OBE for services to music, and stated her award was “a great gesture to me and all black women in England”. In 2010, The Sunday Times named her the most successful solo British female artist in history. In 2012, Sade was listed at number 30 on VH1’s “100 Greatest Women In Music”.

The Beatles 1990/1992

Paul McCartney released Unplugged which has him singing his songs as a Beatle, as his solo career and some songs he grew up listening to.

Massachusetts the years keep going, less and less music is being produced by the former Beatles, which is getting heard to text about anything about their music.

The Four Lads From Liverpool, that changed the world forever, in the 1960’s, has been changed to nothing, in the 1990’s.

What has happened to the music of the 1960’s, it appears that it has disappeared in the 1990’s. I’m not just saying about The Beatles, I’m texting about the style and imagine of the 1960’s. All I hear is trash in today’s music. When love and peace are replaced with cheating and hatered it’s not music at all.

TThe people buying this crap, must have been sniffing glue, because it wasn’t what the 1960’s were all about.

In the 1960’s, you had British Rock, Bubblegum Music, Beach Music, Teen Idols, and more, but in the 1990’s you had only Rap Music  that’s no choice at all. Get with the program and Get Back to the 1960’s before it’s too late !!!

The Beatles 1988/1990

Paul McCartney has Flowers In The Dirt, but nothing else to report on, except for The Traveling Wilburys that got started by George Harrison, Bob Dylan, Roy Orbison, which I texted before and two more that I will very soon !!!

Sinéad Marie Bernadette O’Connor (/ʃɪˈneɪd oʊˈkɒnər/; born 8 December 1966) is an Irish singer-songwriter who rose to fame in the late 1980s with her debut album The Lion and the Cobra. O’Connor achieved worldwide success in 1990 with a new arrangement of Prince’s song “Nothing Compares 2 U”.

Since then, while maintaining her singing career, she has occasionally encountered controversy, partly due to her statements and gestures—such as her ordination as a priest despite being a woman with a Roman Catholic background—and her strongly expressed views on organised religion, women’s rights, war, and child abuse.

In addition to her ten solo albums her work includes many singles, songs for films, collaborations with many other artists and appearances at charity fundraising concerts.

The Beatles 1984/1986

From the three remaining Beatles, nothing was released. Only John Lennon’s CDs were released by Yoko Ono, but other than that these two years were quite !!!

The Beatles 1982/1984

In 1982-1984, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr was in a film called Welcome To Board Street, with the songs of the same name, and that was all that happened.

Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr did lest and lest as time went on, which means that I can get started with another 1960’s performer, very soon.

Min not giving up on The Beatles solo careers, it’s just theirs not much to text about from here on out and maybe I should end this without continue to the next two years.

I’ll try try someone soon, but until then, I might do one more !!!

The Beatles 1980/1982

These two years were the  toughest for us Beatlemanlans, but five LP’s were released and the first one was George Harrison’s Somewh In England with his hit song All Those Years Ago that was about his feelings for The Late John Lennon. Also Paul McCartney was on bass and Ringo Starr was on drums, it can be considered as a Beatles songs, for not all Beatle songs had all four of them recorded on it.

Yoko Ono had her LP next Season Of Glasses which has bloody glasses that John Lennon had wore, on a table. Her songs were of anger and hatered for what had happened, which is understandable, for theirs times I wanted to show my anger here, but after I wrote it, my anger went away and I didn’t post it, but we express it differently.

Paul McCartney wrote a song on his LP Flowers In The Dirt about his friend John Lennon, but it wasn’t a hit and it wasn’t about anger, it was about him writing a song as if John Lennon was right there with him and what he might say to him.

Ringo Starr’s LP Stop And Smell The Roses was going to have a song that John Lennon wrote, Life Begins At Forty, and that John Lennon was going to be on it as well, but was taken off, because it appropriate because of what had happened.

Yoko Ono released Milk And Honey, which was their next LP together and more albums soon to follow.

It’s ashamed for what had happened, but all four of them had closer and were of John Lennon that in away got them together and once again talk of The Beatles getting back together was possible and was rumors of another album in the works, but was that wishful thinking, or fact, only time can tell !!!
